David Tiong Web Design offers personalised website packages to provide your business with a simple and affordable website option. I have a straightforward website design process, with clear pricing and offer quick and reliable service.
I also offer remote consultation, which allows the creation and maintenance of your website wherever you are located within Australia. Please see the question “remote consultation” for more information
Most websites that I create cost between $475 and $1500 including the website design, hosting, domain names, and other extras. Ongoing changes to the website, SEO alterations and extra add on services incur further charges.
The hosting and domain registrations for your website are valid for one year, so there is a renewal fee at the end of each year if you choose to renew with David Tiong Web Design. This renewal fee is currently priced from $166, but depends on the type of website and number of registered domains linked to the website.
If you wish to make alterations and additions to your website when renewing, then further charges will apply.
David Tiong Web Design does not charge for the initial consultation or quote. The quote will be based on the information you provide in the client questionnaire.

Remote consultation means that we don’t have to meet in person to discuss and develop your website, since it is not always practical due to distances and time. Correspondence occurs via telephone, email and post. You provide content/material for your website, such as text, images, photos, logos, videos, etc, preferably by email or otherwise by post.
Once you have submitted the enquiry form, I will send you a questionnaire to fill in which will enable me to determine your website requirements and to provide you with a quote for the total package price.
If you decide to go further with the project, then I will create a design and upload it onto a temporary website for your viewing and feedback. If you are happy to continue, then the next phase is payment of a deposit of $250 which is used to purchase domain name(s), website hosting and to upload a startup page.
Yes, David Tiong Web Design provides websites for clients anywhere in Australia. The process of creating a website does not actually require us to deal face to face, thanks to the technology of today. All correspondence can be done by email and phone.
It is an easy and simple process to create your new customised website and the procedure is outlined on the Find out More page.
You know your market and clients best, so I recommend that you supply your own text content in a word document. If you are not confident in doing this then I can have it professionally produced by a copywriter, or alternatively you can supply David Tiong Web Design with information that you would like to have in your website’s content and it will be optimised and re-worded to suit.
You must not supply material that is unlawful, threatening, vulgar, obscene; or violates privacy, copyrights, confidentiality; or breaks any laws, defames, harasses, incites hatred; or features swearing, obscenities, nudity or makes false or misleading claims; or is racially, ethically or otherwise objectionable.
The best option is for you to supply photos of your work (products, services, branding, advertising images) in jpeg, png or gif format. These will then be enhanced to fit in with your website. Otherwise I can also provide professional images from photo stock. In some circumstances, depending on location and time, I am available to take photos for you.

If you have an existing logo, then provide digital image files of your logo and I will use it on your website.
Otherwise I am able to have a logo professionally created for you from $350 which will provide you with a vector file, jpg file and a pdf file of your new logo.
The images that I use on a website are often a mix of my own photos, stock photos (paid-for or free) and photos/ images that the client provides. These images are intended for use on the website only as certain copyright laws do apply.
However if you would like a copy of a certain image for use on other marketing formats, then just let me know and if possible I will provide you with a copy of that file.
I am able to create a new website, but I am unable to modify an existing website or website code, if your website has been created my another designer.
However if you would like a new design that draws some of the design and content from your existing website, then this may be possible if the copyright of your previous web designer is not violated in doing so.
When I load your startup page I also commence the search engine directory listings with google, yahoo and other search engines. It can take these search engines up to 4-6 weeks to properly index your content.
There are numerous factors that determine where a website ends up in the google listings, including content, page titles, descriptions, keywords, links, etc as well as how it compares with other websites that are already on the top results for your search words. To maximise your chances of appearing higher up on the list when people search, I optimise your pages during design.
I also recommend a google local places listing to improve your google listing, which I can set up for you.
You should also consider listing your business on some of the main online search directories, many of which offer a free basic listing. If you would further information regarding which directories, or help in setting this up, then I am happy to help.
If you have purchased an Update Content Websites Package, then you are able to make your own changes to the text and photos on your pages.
For other package types, the prices for alterations of text or photos start from $30*. Please email a summary of the required alterations and I can provide you with a quote.
